LATEST UPDATE Message from the Trainers and Committee of Central Essex Dog Training Society. From immediate effect we are all very excited to announce that a 3rd phase of our return to capacity is now underway. Following a successful 'Initial Phase' and a '2nd Phase' we are happy to be able to invite ALL current members to return to classes without the need to register beforehand (see class pages for times).Members will be allowed to have an additional family member to accompany them-but ONLY IF NECESSARY, as limited seating will available in order for us to adhere to the social distancing [...]

-Exciting News!! Initial Return Phase Message from the Trainers and Committee of Central Essex Dog Training Society. Last week our Trainers and Committee were able to hold a meeting and discuss the measures we need to take in order to safely return to club. Working in certain parameters, following National and Local guidance we accept we are not in a position to offer the same level of service as previously. We would like to wish all our members and their canine companions a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope you have all enjoyed the weekly training exercises that have been posted on our facebook page. CORONAVIRUS UPDATE Message from the Trainers and Commitee of Central Essex Dog Training Society. It is our intention to re-open the club and welcome back our members at some point in the future.  We continue to be guided by Government and local information. Coronavirus (COVID-19) Alert Due to Government advice on the Coronavirus, it is with regret that CEDTS has to announce that we have no option but to cease all classes until further notice. All those currently taking part in the Intro class or on the April/May/June courses will be notified of a start date when the Club is able to set a date to resume training. Charity Collection


Charity Collection-our amazing Xmas and yearly Charitable donations- As you will recall at our Christmas Party we asked our members to make a donation and chose a Charity to support.  The collection was a great success and along with the ongoing donations to our Charity fund throughout the year from our members,  we are very pleased to be able to support all 5. Therefore, to the two most popular charities, we will be donating  a fantastic:- £140.00 to Cinnamon Trust and £140.00 to Canine Concern. A further donation each of £50.00 will also go to PDSA, Dogs Trust and Blue Cross. [...]

Potentially fatal dog virus alert


Canine Virus  Alert-Some of you will be aware that a Potentially fatal Virus has hit North Essex's dog population. Dogs effected have symptoms such as excessive vomiting, lethargic, blood in stools, not eating and diarrhoea.  A number of cases have been reported in Halstead, surrounding areas and a number of other locations across the country.  Vets believe this is a potentially lethal virus. Therefore, we politely request that if your dog is displaying any of the above symptoms or appears unwell in any way, please refrain from attending your training class/course and seek Veterinary advice immediately.
