CORONAVIRUS UPDATE – plans for return.

Message from the Trainers and Committee of Central Essex Dog Training Society.

We would like you to know that over the last few weeks our committee have been working very hard to make plans for when dog club is able to re open. Taking into account safety of all and covid restrictions alongside additional requirements of the Stanway Hall Committee too.

There are certain parameters that we must abide to following national guidelines and local guidance issued by our venue. Consideration given to the cleaning of the halls, how people will enter/exit, numbers allowed in each area at a time and so on. We have therefore been planning to operate at a much reduced capacity in the initial stages and it is our intention to increase this over a phased period.

In the first phase it is likely we will only be offering 3 classes per evening to support those who we feel will benefit most. Concentrating initially on Ringcraft, inexperienced dogs, Intro courses(previously booked and paid for) and the Starters class.

Those of you involved in the above mentioned classes prior to Covid, will be contacted in due course regarding your return to training. If you are contacted please reply promptly. Should further lockdown measures be put in place, we will review our plans and notify all as soon as possible.

Currently we are still waiting clarification of how the latest covid announcement will effect our return. In the meantime, i will be posting some exercises/tasks for all classes each week on our facebook site. This will help towards getting yourselves and your canines back to training.

This information will be updated and we thank you for your patience and understanding at this difficult time.

Stay safe.
