This is judged on your show handling skills and not the quality of your dog so it's not necessary to have a Crufts champion in order to win. In order to take part you must have attended a minimum of 6 ringcraft classes during the year

The classes are divided either by your dog's age and the line up would be something like:

• Class 1. Puppy 6-12 months
• Class 2. Beginner  - dog and handler never been placed in a Central Essex Ringcraft competition
• Class 3. Restricted Open open to members of the Ringcraft class only
• Class 4. Open  open to all Central Essex members and dogs regardless of age and winnings
• Class 5. Junior Handling open to juniors up to 16 years of age
• Class 6. Veteran dogs 7 years and over.

There is a trophy for the winner of every class and rosettes for 1^st to 4^th place in each class

This competition is usually well attended and is enjoyed by all our ringcraft members.
