What else goes on at CEDTS?

Activities With your dog

Dog Rambles

We hold organised walks in and around Colchester, twice a year. Which offer you and your dog an opportunity to explore parts of Colchester which you may not have seen before.

Look out for posters at the desk and tea bar, and also on the Dates for your Diary page

Bonio Challenge

This challenge is a treasure hunt-cum-quiz which provides cryptic clues along the route of a walk that should keep intellectually challenged, whilst you dogs relish in the physical side of a mornings exercise.

The challenge usually starts at 10:00am (please arrive at the venue by 09:45am) and the route will be between 3 and 4 miles, and should take no more that 2 hours.

The Bonio Challenge takes place in July - look out for posters at the desk and tea bar, and also on the Dates for your Diary page

Activities Without your dog

Guest Speakers

Once or twice a year, CEDTS plays host to guest speakers. The subjects of the talks are dog related, but can cover a wide rage of topics, from the work of rescue organisations to obedience training techniques - such as "clicker" training.

Brain of CEDTS

Are you clever enough to become "Brain of CEDTS"? This quiz has become an annual event, where teams of up to 4 people compete for the prestigious title.

The quiz is a general knowledge quiz split in to categories, such as TV, Pop, History, Animals etc. Each team has a joker they can play which will double their score for the selected round.
