Intro Course

For new members or existing members with young dogs. Puppies are welcome once they have cleared their final vaccinations and there is no upper age limit. This is a basic introduction to the club and to obedience work for you and your dog. It takes the form of a six week course where you and your dog will learn basic commands – ‘Sit’, ‘Heel’, ‘Down’, ‘Stay’, ‘Wait’, ‘Come’, etc.. At the end of the six week introduction handler and dog may continue their training journey by attending our Starters Class on a weekly basis. Weekly fees are £3.00 per dog.

**NOTE** Attendance – we ask you to complete all six weeks of the Intro class if possible, as you will learn different things on each of those weeks.

We do not give refunds unless under exceptional circumstances, which would have to be agreed on by our Committee.

To register please attend in person at Club on Wednesday eve from 7.30pm. We can only reserve a place once it has been paid for in full. We now accept CARD, CASH or CHEQUE. Total cost £50.00 for the six week course which includes your membership fee . Please bring with you to register your dogs vaccination certificate. Please DO NOT bring your dog when registering.

Club Membership

Due to the conditions of the club insurance only members are allowed to be in control of a dog whilst in the Village Hall. Therefore, members of the family and/or friends who wish to train (or even hold) the dog in the Hall must join the club along with the main handler.
